This is my contribution to Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge — Horizontal Lines.

I thought I would take the plunge and have a go at one of Cee’s photo challenges.  Thanks for the encouragement, Cee.  I enjoy writing.  It is good exercise for my brain, but it is a bit like hard work.  But how much fun is photography!

In Aussie land we have the “Tweet of the Week” on our ABC Radio National.  Anyone interested in playing that game with bird photos?  What type of bird is this?

Also check out Dawnbird’s bird ID challenge in the comments below.

Kind Regards
Tracy

  1. That’s an interesting sun-filled photo Tracy, and your question has generated quite a bit of discussion here. We can’t reach a consensus!

      1. The Azures are startlingly rare here. My son saw one about five years ago and the local birding community was a-twitch with excitement (excuse the pun). A couple of other sightings have occurred since then. They are so beautiful.

      2. That was actually my first thought, but I was swayed by your title! You have some impressive twitchers in your family.
